The Crossblog has had a long and rather circuitous journey, from a margin note in my Bible on a sunny afternoon in a municipal park in Toledo, Spain in 2018, to where we are today.
As a contemplative evangelical, I want to use this blog, alongside my itinerant teaching ministry, to encourage people to understand the context of Scripture and its relevance to life in the 21st Century. I hope to celebrate and encourage the slow and contemplative reading of Scripture. Alongside some contemplative posts, I am moving slowly through the Gospel of Mark, a few verses at a time.
My prayer is that whatever led you to this page, you will explore and discover something that captures your interest. My hope is that you will discover something that inspires you to draw closer to God. I welcome conversations, so please leave a comment on any of my posts or ask a question.
My biography is here. I am based in West Sussex. I speak in Churches, small groups, workshops and breakfast events.
Be encouraged.
