Married to Jo, Richard Jackson lives in the centre of Horsham, West Sussex, in south east England. After a career mainly served in the public sector, he has worked since 2010 for various Christian charities and organisations, most recently with Horsham Churches Together. A former school governor and charity trustee, he  has been involved in Christian mission and training events in the UK, in Europe and elsewhere. Since 2019 he has been a member of the international team of Coaches for global charity CCI Worldwide with responsibility for development in North Africa.

Alongside his ministry activities, Richard is the Director of LifePicture UK, and teaches English as a foreign language, mainly working with refugees and asylum seekers.

A lay preacher, Richard describes himself as a contemplative evangelical, speaking regularly to Christian groups including Churches, conferences and breakfast events.

Originally from Essex, Richard and Jo moved to Sussex in 2010 to manage a Christian conference and retreat centre, a role which they held until April 2019.

An experienced school governor and charity trustee, Richard has served on the leadership team of Baptist Churches in Loughton, Essex and at The Hub, Beeding in West Sussex.  He is an experienced mentor, facilitator and mediator.
