Married to Jo, Richard Jackson lives in the centre of Horsham, West Sussex, in south east England. After a career in the public sector, he has worked since 2010 for various Christian charities and organisations, most recently with Horsham Churches Together. A former school governor and charity trustee, he has been involved in Christian mission and training events in the UK, in Europe and elsewhere. Since 2019 he has been a member of the international team of Coaches for global charity CCI Worldwide with responsibility for development of their activities in North Africa. Richard is also an experienced ESOL / TEFL teacher, offering specialist language coaching to individuals and small groups.
Richard is the Director of LifePicture UK, and ‘writer in residence’ for the Crossblog.
A lay preacher, Richard describes himself as a contemplative evangelical, speaking regularly to Christian groups including Churches, conferences and breakfast events.
Originally from Essex, Richard and Jo moved to West Sussex in 2010 to manage the Dalesdown Christian Conference and Retreat centre, a role which they held for nearly ten years.
Richard has served on the leadership team of Baptist Churches in Loughton, Essex and at The Hub, Beeding in West Sussex, where he remains a member and worship leader.
